Your role at Kittl

You will be responsible for the whole data platform at Kittl. You will have an enormous impact on Kittl's future by building and maintaining modern data infrastructure, helping business users define KPIs and implementing them in our reporting, being the first go-to person on data insights for marketing, product and C-management.


What you'll do

  • Act as a sparring partner for business users and collaborate with our analytics lead to generate more business insights

  • Take complete ownership of the data platform from the idea generation, requirement gathering and successful implementation

  • Own integration of new data sources into our data warehouse, design and implementation of high-performant and scalable data models on well-defined standards and methodology

  • Collaborate with our software engineers to design needed events for product understanding and data gathering

  • Proactively explore and leverage new technologies to improve our processes

  • Drive data quality and governance and monitoring standards to ensure data is correct, consistent and reliable

  • Experience in data modelling and data warehousing concepts and creating code-based ELT pipelines - from raw data you generate optimized models with an eye towards performance and maintainability

Job requirements

What you'll need

  • Strong SQL skills - you can generate insights with efficient SQL

  • Required experience with
    • cloud Data Warehouse (Snowflake/Bigquery)

    • extraction tools (Stitch/Fivetran/Airbyte)

    • reporting solutions (Metabase/Looker/Tableau etc)

    • transformation layer (dbt) and scheduling (Airflow, Jenkins)

    • GitHub and best practices in CI/CD methodologies and testings

    • Tracking tools (GA/GTM)

  • A plus would be experience with
    • product/tracking analytics tools (Mixpanel, Posthog)

    • A/B test methodologies and tools for it

    • API development

    • python (scripting & data wrangling & visualization) skills

    • Stripe API

  • Good communication to share complex ideas with business and engineering teams in a simple language and a team player who would support Kittl’s team in data requests

  • Ability to prioritise and structure work or ask for support if help is needed
